WuWei Sanctuary Photographer Alliance Recruiting: 5 Elites only!

For years, WuWei Sanctuary Park has been exerting efforts to protect animals. However, it was not until last winter when Jenny, the independent producer and director, volunteered in our park, did our fights for animal rights outstand itself in public.

From the donkey rescue operation in November last year to the rescue of cattle in January this year, Jenny and other photographer Volunteers dedicated a lot to make it possible for everyone in front of the screen to vividly see the severe situation of the animals, hear their yelling and empathize with them.

Jenny, our volunteer, grew up in Sydney, Australia. Being strong and capable, she once was caught in the turmoil of the advertising industry. But since she became a vegetarian four years ago, she began to speak for animals, to write stories for those mute friends, thus turning herself into a “literary youth”

Now, Jenny is the only post-1985 female photographer in China to theme on animal protection. Jenny said that since she participated in the team of volunteers of WuWei Sanctuary Park last year and had taken video of animal rescue, she really felt the spirituality of animals and the humanity of human beings. She recorded these unspeakable emotions in the lens and shared it with everyone through the lens. Over the past few months, Jenny and the accompanying volunteers have personally experienced the grief of animals and were completely overwhelmed by them.

When the donkey lamented tears, she also cried, with a red nose and a paper towel, and she knew that only by recording these scenes can this be shown to more through which connections between animals and human beings can be built, and more donkeys can be rescued.

While filming, she often lamented the transiency of life and the fragility of life. she was more enlightened to seize the moment, exert her energy and lay down her own interests, become one of the volunteers to help the disadvantaged groups of the society. Using her strength in photography to speak for the mute friends!

One of the most effective ways is video - 90% of the data traffic on the Internet comes from video. In addition to saving animals, it plays a very important role in recording the daily life of lovely animals which is supposed to be arouse people’s empathy and build emotional connection. Video is undoubtedly an important part of animal protection and development in China! WuWei Sanctuary Park plans to take pictures of each individual animal in the garden to represent their lovable personality, appealing more people to fall in love with them and remove them from the dining table.
