Last weekend, we participated in Earth Day activities in Shanghai. What is unforgettable, apart from everyone's curiosity and concern about our "new business" - cloud animal adoption, is the weather in Shanghai.

Wu Ding, the founder of Sushe (deep appreciation once again goes to Sushe for their invitation and support) said:“The weather in Shanghai is getting hotter and hotter. It's just like summe in April. It's only darkening down after 6:30 in the evening”

Our volunteers were interviewed by Shanghai Yangpu Cable Station and they were particularly interested in our “Cloud Adoption”

During the three days of the stall set-up, our volunteers drank 3+ liters of water each day, sweating all over with flushed cheeks (big thanks to all volunteers who participated in the stall). We can't help but think about the reasons of the changing and extreme weather situation not to mention the abnormally long and early hot temperature. In April of the past, Jiangsu and Zhejiang were by no means like this. Earlier this month, the phenomenon of “abrupt summer temperature” and “four-season in one week” has appeared on a large scale throughout the country.

There were a lot of elementary school students coming to interview us. Our booth was very lively and clamorous.

Did you feel that the weather has become increasingly extreme and unbearable over the years?

The culprit is animal husbandry.

The phenomenon of climate change and global warming is actually caused by human activities. The greenhouse effect is due to the fact that the greenhouse gases “trap” the heat at the surface of the atmosphere, with the result that the heat, which could have been emitted from the earth, reflects back into the earth. It is well known that transportation is the culprit for this, but the fact is that there is one emitting much more greenhouse gases- animal husbandry.

Yes, animal husbandry emits more greenhouse gases than all vehicles (including all forms of transportation by land, sea and air)! Therefore, our food choices are actually more environmentally friendly than choosing green travel and saving electricity. If we do not have animal products in our diet, each of us can be twice as environmentally friendly as our current lifestyle!

The goat who loves to be caressed and the one-month-old lamb are already adopted. Now they have new names.

Back to the topic. During these two days set-up, two sheep are successfully adopted in half an hour and received many requests and support from friends all over the country for cloud adoption. We hereby open up more cloudy adoption opportunity for everyone, so that everyone can be easily connected with animals anywhere and support the nursery, and find a love and trust in their hearts.

Last year, 6 cows were successfully adopted after being rescued in 6 hours. Now they have developed their own personality and the remote “parents” that can be trusted....

Zhihui: No quarrel, no scrambling, no arguing, this is wisdom, you’re a cow in a low-key manner, and never bother others.

Meme: Can't help but want to give the whole world a big kiss, but unfortunately it is impossible to control my inner power. Sorry to bother you.

Lulu: Don't be fooled by my name. I am a real man. You have heard that Meme is naughty, I can handle her. Feed me more grass.

Jietuo: After being rescued, I just want to be a handsome guy quietly.

Huanxi: I am not as destructive as the man, but when it comes to food... well, it turns out I am a Tomboy.

Da Niuniu: The sun is so tender and genial, we can be standing or lying, or quietly ruminating, life should be calm and peaceful ~

There are many different kinds of animal friends in our nursing home, including cats and dogs, peacocks, deer, rabbits, chicken, ducks, geese, fish, pigeons, turtles, sheep, horses, and donkeys that were saved at the end of last year. We plan to launch cloud adoptions for several animal friends each month. Continue follow us and find you “love” for the first sight.

Cloud adoption notice: 💥 There can only be 1 adopter for each animal; 💥 You can name the animals after one year’s adoption (except for the donkey already had a name); 💥 The adopter will receive photos and videos of the animal every week; 💥Each adopter can get a free 3 days-2 nights visit to park, board and accommodation included. Candidate one: Donkey(nickname: Xiaoxiao)

That's right! It was him who cried before! He is scheming around! At the time we were all about to leave the slaughterhouse. Our volunteers found that he cried! So we saved him again... Later, it was because of him that his companions (Guangguang, Yuyuan, Youyou, Wuwei) could be saved. He is simply the little angel of all donkeys! But stop praising him. He is the naughtiest, he yelled the loudest, and he is indeed the drama queen. But we love him!!

Candidate two: Donkey (nickname: Guangguang)

We also knew for the first time that there was a white donkey. We had always suspected that he was not a purebred donkey. It might be a donkey foal (a descendant of a stallion and a female donkey, not the same as a common mule). Because he was not very gregarious. He seemed to be in his own spiritual world. What he likes to do every day is to stand under the sun and enjoys his time at ease. Perhaps he is still sighing, "I'm still here today." He is quite clingy to people, at the same time being with him people will become fearless knowing that he will not hurt you and he will guard you.

Candidate Three:

Zhuge(not named) He is quite low-key and he has a small brother who adores him so much that follows him everyday. He is so fat that he finds it difficult for him to stand up from his knees. His weight might come from his liking to food and sleep. However, he loves cleanness, rolling in the mud, sunbathing, and pooping in one fixed corner. Once someone beckons him, he would walk slowly towards you and ask for caressing! Feeling comfortable, he will snort and wag his tail.
